*The Beatles:
The Beatles were a pop and rock group from Liverpool, England formed in 1960. Primarily consisting of John Lennon (rhythm guitar, vocals), Paul McCartney (bass guitar, vocals), George Harrison (lead guitar, vocals) and Ringo Starr (drums, vocals) throughout their career, The Beatles are recognised for leading the mid-1960s musical "British Invasion" into the United States. Although their initial musical style was rooted in 1950s rock and roll and homegrown skiffle, the group explored genres ranging from Tin Pan Alley to psychedelic rock. Their clothes, styles, and statements made them trend-setters, while their growing social awareness saw their influence extend into the social and cultural revolutions of the 1960s. After the band broke up in 1970, all four members embarked upon solo careers.

*Records:
A gramophone record (also vinyl record, vinyl, phonograph record, or simply record) is an analog sound storage medium consisting of a flat disc with an inscribed modulated spiral groove usually starting near the periphery and ending near the center of the disc. (Some commercial-use only records ran the groove from the center to the edge of the record.) Gramophone records were the primary medium used for commercial music reproduction for most of the 20th century. They replaced the phonograph cylinder as the most popular recording medium in the 1900s, and although they were supplanted in popularity in the late 1980s by digital media, leaving mainstream by 1990, they continue to be manufactured and sold as of 2008.

A book is a set or collection of written, printed, illustrated, or blank sheets, made of paper, parchment, or other material, usually fastened together to hinge at one side. *Books (The Beatles):
n October 2000, The Beatles Anthology book was released, which included interviews with all four band members and others involved, plus rare photos. Many of the interviews quoted are from those featured in the documentary films. The book is designed as a large-format hardback, with imaginative artwork throughout, and several visually impressive and colorful spreads featuring graphics relevant to the proceeding chronology, photographic arrays and a variety of text styles and layouts.

An anthology, literally a "garland" or "collection of flowers", is a collection of literary works, originally of poems. In genre fiction and especially science fiction, anthology is used to categorize collections of shorter works such as short stories and short novels, usually collected into a single volume for publication.

*Anthology 1:
Anthology 1 is a compilation album by The Beatles and the first of a three-volume collection. It was released in November 1995 (tying in with a televised special - The Beatles Anthology - that aired in three parts) and includes rarities and alternative tracks from the period 1958-1964, including their days as "The Quarrymen", through the Decca auditions to the album Beatles for Sale. Also included on this album was the Jeff Lynne produced track "Free as a Bird", which was billed as the first "new" Beatles song in 25 years.

*Anthology 2:
The Beatles´ Anthology 2 is a compilation album released in March 1996 by Apple Records as part of The Beatles Anthology series. The album includes rarities, live, and alternative tracks from the sessions for Help! through the sessions for Magical Mystery Tour and early 1968 sessions before the band traveled to India. The album featured the second "new" Beatle-track, "Real Love", a re-worked song originally by John Lennon.

*Anthology 3:
The Beatles´ Anthology 3 was released in October 1996, and includes rarities and alternative tracks from the final two years of their career as a band ranging from the initial sessions for the The Beatles (The White Album) through to the last sessions for Let It Be and Abbey Road in later 1969. On the cover, an updated picture of Klaus Voorman can be seen in George's hair in the Revolver cover section.

*LP Album:
Long-playing (LP) record albums are 33-1/3 rpm vinyl phonograph records, generally either 10- or 12-inches in diameter. They were first introduced in 1948, and served as a primary release format for recorded music until the compact disc began to significantly displace them in the late 1980s. The long-playing record is an analog format. The digital recording of sound was only made practical by the technical advances in microprocessors and computing which occurred in the 1970s and 1980s.

*Single:
In the record industry, a single is a song usually extracted from a current or upcoming album to promote the album. Singles are distributed through a number of ways; originally, they were packaged as "single" records with one or two other songs and sold before the release of the album. However, this practice has lessened as the Internet has made music more readily available to the public free of charge. Also, singles are commonly played on the radio, and with the advent of music videos in the 1980s, video versions of singles have become a common way of distributing the song to the public.
